[En-geyj-muh nt]: Our way of introducing green solutions to Recipients while preserving dignity for all.
Access to ecological options and opportunities is a predominant need in underserved communities. Solutions offered to historically underrepresented neighborhoods typically require residents leaving the community to access the opportunity and then return with the solution to implement it. Our approach is to connect with limited-income residents by introducing green solutions in their homes, places of worship, and other places of congregation—where they live, work, worship and play—and to do that in relevant and engaging way.
Let’s Raise a Million employs a content management system that facilitates the digital tracking--via barcode technology-- of each clean bulb installed by volunteers. More than just an inventory-tracking tool, this solution generates reports to our sponsors and stakeholders on progress, in addition to highlighting opportunities for continuing engagement.
Per our installation agreement with community residents, each recipient is invited to complete an impact profile which includes an energy audit in addition to background information. Following a 90-day adjustment period, volunteers connect again with recipients to determine monetary savings and to provide additional green solutions supplied by LRAM partners. This follow up also allows for LRAM staff to ensure the integrity of the bulbs installed.
